Five Russians died while climbing a man-eating mountain in the Himalayas. They walked in one group – one of them fell at an altitude of 8167 meters and pulled the rest along with it.
The first four people in the group set up camp when they climbed to 7,420 meters. At night two more came. On October 6, Alexander Dusheiko, Oleg Kruglov, Vladimir Chistikov, Mikhail Nosenko, Dmitry Shpilevoy, Valery Shamalo continued their journey. Soon the latter felt sick, he got rid of it and returned back to camp. The rest went further to the top of Dhaulagiri.
After some time, contact with them disappeared. This morning, rescuers flew around the mountain by helicopter and found the only survivor. The rest fell into the abyss.
