The accident occurred on the boiler house on January 4 – several boilers came out of the system at once. When the temperature in the houses fell to 3-5 ° C, the authorities asked to “remain calm and not to panic.”
In response, residents tried to warm up with the help of heaters, which loaded the power grid. Due to the increased load, the locals were asked to refrain from their use.
The first deputy chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha Dmitry Sadovnikov said that the launch of all boilers is postponed due to technical problems.
Residents themselves say that “guys from the boiler room for 2 years asked for spare parts.”
On January 1, the fire also occurred in the boiler room of the village of Bestyakh in the Zhigansky district. Without heating, there were one apartment building, four private, school and kindergarten. Heating was resumed after three days.
