After a seasonal start with performance below expectations, Red Bull will bring the first improvements for the RB21 monopost at the Grand Prize of Saudi Arabia this weekend.
After only four stages of the 2025 season of Formula 1, Red Bull ranks 3rd in the construction ranking and won a single victory: in Japan, through Max Verstappen.
Which changes prepare Red Bull for the Grand Prize of Saudi Arabia
The Red Bull team will introduce significant improvements to the RB21 monopost for next weekend, at the Grand Arabia Saudi Award, informs RacingNews365.com, citing a source within the team.
Since the beginning of the season, the performance of the Milton Keynes team have been quite disappointing, except for the fantastic victory obtained by Max Verstappen at the Grand Prize of Japan. That is why the Red Bull engineers have prepared 3 packs of improvements that will come throughout the season.
At Jeddah, Verstappen and his teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, will be able to count on a modified central side of the floor, which will have the role of moving the aerodynamic pressure center to the back of the car. In addition to these changes, Red Bull will also make adjustments to the location of the internal components of the car in the sidepods, which will aim to improve the weight of the car in the allowed parameters, according to Sportal.bg.
This will be the first package of improvements that Red Bull will introduce in three stages. After Jeddah, the second part will debut in Miami, and the final at Imola (Emilia-Romagna).
We need to find a better car performance as soon as possible. We need to improve our standards. If the car is not the fastest and the speaker stops do not go well, it is unacceptable.
I think we will have to prepare better and find better settings for the car we have. In the short term, we cannot have new components. This result is very alarming. We know that at this moment we are not competitive. In the following races, we are waiting for new components, we hope that they will improve our performance. We will come back, hope to be stronger during European races
