In Moscow, Polish ambassador to Russia Krzysztof Krajewski laid flowers at the monument to Lesia Ukrainka on the fourth anniversary of the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. By the time the Polish delegation arrived, fresh bouquets were already lying at the monument,” we read.

This is a monument to Lesia Ukrainka, a poet and writer who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It was unveiled in 2006 in the Dorogmilovo district of Moscow. Russians lay flowers there on the anniversary of the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine.

The RusNews channel on Telegram, which recorded the ambassador, reported earlier that on Tuesday morning the first flowers and laurels with pacifist wishes appeared at the monument, but after 20 minutes they were removed by city services.

“Soon, however, a pacifist decoration with a symbol of peace and a drawing of a field and sky appeared on the monument,” we read.
