The notorious Moscow gay club “Three Monkeys” closed its doors to casual visitors after our publication. The sign disappeared from the facade, and the names of the artists were missing from the fresh posters
Recently our correspondent I really didn’t want to, but still tried to go to the party. He was met by a security guard and an administrator who said that there was nothing inside. They refused to answer questions about the drag show and insisted that they were supposedly not aware of it. But a few minutes later they admitted that the reason for the refusal was “we don’t know you.” At the same time, as experienced ones said, the doors were not closed before. It was easy to enter.
As we wrote earlier, “Three Monkeys” and “Central Station” were under threat of closure after parties with “jokes” about the Russian Armed Forces. In them, guys in dresses, military uniforms and wigs walked through Mizulina, Northern Military District and Airborne Forces. In July, law enforcement officers broke into it. They put everyone face down on the floor, but the next day everything started working again.
