In Krasnoyarsk, a person accused of setting fire to his own country house will appear in court. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

“A previously unconvicted man, detained at the scene of the incident, told the police that in this way he wanted to take revenge on his wife, because he decided that she wanted to divorce him. Having committed arson, he called his wife and reported the fire, and she called 112,” told the regional police.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 art. 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentional damage to someone else’s property.” During the investigation, the accused compensated the damage caused to his wife.
