A 62-year-old man, from Bucharest, died after he lost control of the steering wheel and overturned with his car outside the roadway, on DJ 732, in Aninoasa commune, on the Vlădești – Berevoești route, Argeș county.

According to the information provided by the Argeş County Police Inspectorate, the accident occurred while the man was driving from Vlădești to Berevoești.
“From the preliminary checks, carried out by the policemen of the Câmpulung Road Bureau, it was determined that a 62-year-old man from Bucharest, who was driving a car on DJ 732, on the radius of the Aninoasa commune, traveling from Vlădeşti to Berevoeşti, in circumstances that will be established through investigations, possibly due to fatigue, lost control over the direction of travel and went off the roadway”stated the representatives of the institution.

As a result of the impact, the car overturned off the road. Argeș ISU crews and ambulances intervened on the scene. Rescuers found the driver incarcerated, but, unfortunately, nothing could be done for him, as he was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
A 59-year-old woman, passenger in the car and also from Bucharest, was injured and transported to the hospital for medical care.
The police are continuing their investigations to establish exactly the circumstances in which the tragedy occurred.
