A scandal occurred at “Henri Coandă” Airport, when boarding a plane to London, after a man and a woman, accompanied by a small child, were not allowed to board the aircraft, on the grounds that they were verbally aggressive with the airline staff, according to News.ro.
Images shared on social media show the woman sitting on the floor at the entrance to the plane as several border guards try to get her to leave the area so the plane can take off. HotNews chose not to publish the images to protect the identity of the family and the child involved.
“No, no, no, now, I'm leaving on this plane! Don't you understand that I'm not leaving on another plane? I paid money, I didn't talk bad to anyone, I didn't swear at anyone, I didn't jump at anyone,” the woman says in the recording.
In the images, the policemen can be seen lifting the woman up, while the child cries loudly, and the mother later takes him in her arms. “I broke his watch, I broke his bracelet,” says the man filming.
Border Police: “Adults continued aggressive demonstrations”
Border Police officials told News.ro that the family was refused boarding “as a result of the verbally aggressive behavior shown by the adults towards the airline staff”.
“At the boarding gate for a flight to London, a family consisting of two adults and a minor was denied boarding by the captain of the aircraft, as a result of the adults' verbally aggressive behavior towards the airline staff. When the border police arrived, the adults continued their aggressive demonstrations and tried to prevent the closing operations of the aircraft, blocking access and disturbing public order. As the man had violent behavior and did not comply with legal requests, he was removed from the aircraft”, the Border Police point of view states.
The representatives of the institution also specify that the girl remained permanently in the presence of her mother.
“In the case, contraventional sanctions were applied, according to the Air Code. We recommend passengers to adopt a responsible and respectful behavior during their presence at the airport, during the boarding procedures and during the flight, so that the safety and comfort of all the people involved are not affected”, the Border Police also transmits.
