During the night, the snow continued, but it was weak in quantity. The new weather episode will end Sunday morning, and forecasters say they don't expect any more severe warnings.

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police announced on Sunday morning that there are no national roads or highways with traffic stopped due to road events or unfavorable weather conditions.

The situation on highways and main roads:

  • A1 Bucharest-Pitesti: no precipitation, wet road, in places covered with snow (especially in the A0 area). Good visibility, low traffic.
  • A2 Bucharest-Cernavodă: light snow, no deposits on the road, wet road, good visibility, low traffic.
  • A0 (Bucuresti ring road) and A3 Bucharest-Brașov: light snow, deposits on the road in some places, good visibility, low traffic. In the area of ​​the bridges from km 37-38, the roadway is partially covered with poles.
  • A7 Ploiesti-Adjud: partially wet road, wind intensification, good visibility, reduced traffic.

It is signaled to the pole on DN 23A, between the towns of Milcovul and Gologanu, Vrancea county.

There is a temporary tonnage restriction for vehicles over 3.5 tons due to weather conditions on a section of national road, in the counties of Buzău and Ialomița: DN 2C Smeeni/BZ – Slobozia/IL.
