The star of “Eternal Call” and “Carmelita” Ekaterina Zhemchuzhnaya suffered a stroke.
The 80-year-old people's artist was admitted to intensive care in serious condition in the middle of summer. Before this, Ekaterina Andreevna suffered from dizziness for two days. Doctors diagnosed her with acute ischemic stroke and found out that she had already suffered a heart attack, but did not contact specialists. After a week and a half, she was discharged. The actress is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
In April, the People's Artist was supposed to perform at a concert in Klin, but it was cancelled. In 2021, her husband Georgy Zhemchuzhny died from cancer.
