The Serbian footballer suffered a cruciate ligament tear, one of the most serious injuries in football, and will no longer play for UTA Arad, according to aradon.ro.
He will return to Rapid and should be playable again in at least six months. He was on loan at Arad until the end of this season. Depending on the complexity of the medical problem, there is a good chance that Gojkovic will miss the start of next season as well.
He is the second player that Rapid has loaned out and is dealing with a serious injury, after that of French Antoine Baroan at AFS in Portugal.
Gojkovic had played 6 matches for the new team (280 minutes), without scoring or providing any decisive assist. He wore the Rapid jersey 38 times, scored one goal and provided five decisive assists.

Gojkovic also played for FK Vozdovac, Backa Palanca, Novi Belgrad and Rad Belgrad, all teams from Serbia.
