On Christmas, January 7, Krasnoyarsk Central Embankment will turn into a festive street – along it on decorated sleighsis growing kids. The theme of the event is a New Year's fairy tale, the length of the route will be 500 meters.
The bright winter procession “Sleigh Parade” will be held in Krasnoyarsk as part of the “Magic Ice of Siberia” festival for the second time.
“Parents and their children will have to use their imagination to turn ordinary children’s sleds, snow scooters or ice skates into fabulous vehicles. You can choose one of three nominations: “Santa Claus's Sleigh”; “Golden Horseshoe” (sleigh in the form of a symbol of 2026); “Fairy tale hero» (sleigh with any fairy-tale character). The family team must be dressed in the same style that matches the nomination. The design of the sled can be varied, but it must be safe – you cannot use objects that interfere with movement or pose a threat to the health of participants»– said the mayor's office.
Participation in the parade is free, but pre-registration is required. You can submit your application until December 22. Participants will be informed of the exact start time of the event by phone, as well as in the public page of the Vector youth projects promotion center.
All participants will receive memorable gifts, and the winners in each category will receive prizes from the organizers and partners.
