The overall engagement rate of Polish employees in 2025 was 63%, which is the lowest result since the pandemic – according to the Enpulse report. Over 40 percent employees pointed to communication problems within the company and lack of trust in management's decisions.

According to the “Engagement 2025” report prepared by Enpulse, the overall engagement rate in 2025 was 63%, which means a decrease of 3 percentage points. year to year and return to the level recorded in 2021, i.e. during the pandemic.

In 2025, 69 percent respondents declared a high level of commitment to their work. This result is 6 percentage points lower. compared to 2024 and 2023. The percentage of people declaring commitment to their job duties decreased by 1 percentage point. rdr. and amounted to 53 percent. The share of disengaged employees reached 19 percent, which is the highest value since the beginning of the report. However, after 14 percent employees were in the “disappointed” and “involved” groups.

According to the report, the area of ​​communication was in the “watch out” category on all three dimensions of engagement: emotional, motivational and rational. According to the authors of the report, communication in companies increasingly does not fulfill its basic functions, i.e. clarity of direction, coherence of the message or a sense of meaning in the actions taken.

In 2025, 40 percent employees – by 4 percentage points more than in 2024 – assessed the flow of information between management and employees as insufficient. At the same time, the percentage of people declaring knowledge of the organization's mission decreased (from 70% in 2024 to 65% in 2025). 56% confirmed knowledge about the company's plans and current situation. respondents.

“A specific direction and meaning of what we do”

“Everything looks great on paper: we exchange thousands of emails, create dozens of chat threads and miss meetings. But in all this, what is most important is lost: the specific direction and meaning of what we do,” said Enpulse expert Magda Pietkiewicz, quoted in the press release.

At the same time, 43 percent respondents declared that they did not trust management's decisions. A similar percentage (42%) indicated that their voice is not taken into account in decision-making processes – this is a 3 percentage point increase. more than in 2024. “The result is growing uncertainty and employee distance,” said the authors of the study.

However, the willingness to influence what is happening in the company decreased year-on-year. by 9 percentage points Skepticism towards changes introduced in the organization is also growing – by 3 percentage points during the year. the percentage of employees who declared that changes in the company were an opportunity for development decreased.

The authors of the report drew attention to the gap between declarations and the actual experience of teamwork. 71 percent employees, i.e. by 3 percentage points more than in 2024, declared that they were “forming a team”. At the same time, by 5 percentage points rdr. the group of respondents who assessed the atmosphere at work as friendly decreased. A similar decline occurred in the percentage of people who found relationships with co-workers motivating. By 7 percentage points. the number of respondents agreeing with the statement that employees are willing to help each other decreased.

“When trust weakens in an organization, cooperation becomes a fiction. (…) Declines in practices and atmosphere mean that the organization loses the ability to cooperate across structures before conflict or chaos appears,” Pietkiewicz said.

According to the report, for several years now fewer and fewer employees have been willing to recommend their employer. In 2025, 36 percent people recommended their workplace, which means a decrease by 5 percentage points. – compared to both 2024 and 2023 to 37%. however, the percentage of people most dissatisfied with the conditions in the organization and inclined to express negative opinions about it increased. The percentage of this group has been growing continuously since 2023, and compared to 2024 it increased by 7 percentage points.

At the same time, 65 percent employees admitted that they are satisfied with their workplace and like working there, which means a decrease by 5 percentage points. compared to 2024 and by 7 percentage points. compared to 2023.

The “Engagement 2025” survey was carried out in the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025. The measurement was carried out using the proprietary Enpulse methodology, on a group of 100,000 people. employees of Polish companies from various industries and regions of the country.
