The day before, rescuers again went out to the Ust-Pogromny Bay area of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir to retrieve the body of a man who fell through the ice in a car. Let us remind you that the tragedy occurred a week and a half ago – on February 7.
Two days later, rescuers, using special equipment, established that the car was standing on wheels at the bottom of the reservoir, and the driver’s body was in the cabin. But due to the great depth, it is not yet possible to raise it; various options are currently being studied.
“The depth at which the car is located – 60-65 meters – significantly complicates the operation. The body of the deceased driver remains in the cabin. February 18 fromSpecialists from the Divnogorsk search and rescue team made five dives using the Neptune television underwater vehicle, trying to find a way to retrieve the body. Unfortunately, this has not yet been possible,” said the KSKU “Spasatel”.
Despite the difficulties, rescuers promise to continue their work.
