

According to him, in 2025 it was possible to stop the accumulation of new debts for “green” electricity.
“The biggest problem remains the debts of 2022,” Prokop emphasized.
He explained that part of the debt for 2023-2024 is gradually being repaid, while the debts of 2022 are of a different nature and are associated with violation of commercial accounting due to the occupation of territories and loss of control over energy facilities.
In such conditions, the expert noted, it is virtually impossible to solve this problem within the current legal framework.
“The problem of these debts in 2022 can no longer be solved in the existing legal framework,” he noted.
In his opinion, to settle these debts, legislative decisions and a market audit for the period since the beginning of the war are necessary.
