The court refused to release Igor Strelkov from the colony. Due to a negative description from the administration of penal colony No. 5 of Kirovo-Chepetsk.

Strelkov is on the preventive register as a person professing an extremist ideology, does not admit guilt, has not repented of what he has done, does not consider work as a means of correction, supports the vaguely inclined part of the convicts, when checking the bedside table, there were comments about the storage of pills in it that were officially authorized by the attending physician, so the goal of correction has not been achieved and there is no confidence that he will not commit a crime again.
The description was enough for the judge – the replacement of the punishment with a more lenient one was refused. Strelkov's lawyer told us that the decision will be appealed. A new application for parole was filed in the summer, when the previously imposed disciplinary sanction expires.
