The woman who allowed her partner to rape her daughter for four years has been sentenced to more than 13 years in prison. The violator received 20 years behind bars

A shocking case was recently resolved by the Arad Court, where a 44-year-old man and his partner were convicted of sexually abusing the woman's minor daughter.

On Tuesday, February 17, the magistrates at the Arad Court sentenced a 36-year-old woman to over 13 years in prison, after she allowed her 44-year-old concubine to rape her minor daughter for four years. The violator received 20 years in prison, but the decision is not final. At the same time, the two must pay 50,000 euros to the victim.

The representatives of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Arad District Court announced, on Tuesday, that the Arad District Court sentenced a 44-year-old man to 18 years in prison for the rape of a minor, in continuous form (period 2020 – September 2024), to five years in prison for ill-treatment of the minor and to one year in prison for inciting false testimony, in the form of improper participation, following so that in the end he would serve the resulting sentence of 20 years in prison.

The woman, who cannot be called a mother, knew about the abuses and even facilitated their commission. She was sentenced to 12 years in prison for complicity in the rape of a minor, in continuous form (period 2020 – September 2024), five years in prison for ill-treatment of the minor, and in the end she will serve the sentence of 13 years and 8 months in prison.

“In the period between 2020 and September of 2024, based on the same criminal resolution, through physical/psychological coercion and taking advantage of the impossibility of the minor civil party to express his will, the defendant LMT (the mother's concubine) maintained sexual relations, oral and anal sexual acts with her, thus putting her intellectual and moral development in serious danger. The defendant NA, having knowledge of the sexual abuse to which his minor daughter is subjected, starting in 2020 and until September of 2024, facilitated the criminal activity of the defendant LMT consisting in repeatedly maintaining sexual relations, oral and anal sexual acts, with the minor civilian part, through physical/psychological coercion and taking advantage of her inability to express her will previously, as well as by the defendant's remaining passive, put her intellectual and moral development in grave danger”, the prosecutors showed in the indictment.

The man is also accused of causing his 10-year-old son to make false statements when he was heard as a witness in the case in October 2024.
