The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against a 40-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk on charges of financing extremist activities.
It was established that in October – November 2023, the woman transferred more than 50 thousand rubles to the accounts of a recognized extremist organization, whose activities are prohibited in Russia.
During a search of the defendant’s house, literature and clothing with extremist paraphernalia, as well as 4 telephones were confiscated. The necessary investigative actions aimed at collecting and consolidating the evidence base are now being carried out.
For committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, a Krasnoyarsk citizen can be punished with a fine of up to 700 thousand rubles, or forced labor for up to 4 years, or imprisonment for a term of 3 to 8 years.
