This simple mushroom sauce will make your potato pancakes taste divine. Quick recipe

Ukrainian culinary blogger under the nickname katia_cooking_ shared a recipe for potato pancakes with mushrooms.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • one onion;
  • two eggs;
  • salt to taste;
  • 1.5 tbsp. l. flour.

Ingredients for mushroom filling:

  • 400 g champignons;
  • 1 tbsp. l. flour;
  • 300 ml cream;
  • one onion;
  • 20 g butter;
  • salt, pepper and herbs to taste.

Preparation

  1. Grate the potatoes, salt them and drain the excess liquid. Add grated onion and all pancake ingredients and stir.
  2. Fry pancakes in a frying pan on both sides until golden brown.
  3. To make the filling, fry the chopped mushrooms and onions in butter over high heat for about seven minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Add flour and stir. Then pour in the cream and cook over medium heat until thickened. At the end, salt, pepper and add herbs.
  5. Pour the sauce over the deryuns before serving.
