If splashes of grease and burnt marks have accumulated inside the microwave, do not rush to rub the surface with an abrasive sponge. There is a simple and safe way to clean the inside of your oven without any effort. The product softens even old carbon deposits and returns the camera to its factory shine.
Take a deep glass plate or bowl and pour 1 glass of water. Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar or the juice of half a lemon; the acid will help dissolve the fat film. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda for a mild abrasive effect and deodorization. Place the container in the microwave and turn on at maximum power for 3-5 minutes. Do not open the door for another 2-3 minutes, the steam should “work” inside. After this, simply wipe the walls and bottom with a damp cloth: the softened coating will be removed in one motion. Vinegar or lemon breaks down fat, soda removes odors and remaining dirt, and steam penetrates hard-to-reach places.
After cleaning, ventilate the chamber by leaving the door open for 10 minutes. For a lasting aroma, you can add a couple of drops of orange essential oil to the solution. This method is not only effective, but also safe: no toxic fumes, scratches or skin irritation.
