Man struck deadly by a car in Ilfov. The driver fled from the place of the accident but was caught
A 65-year-old man lost his life, after being hit by a car on DN2, near a fuel station in Afumați commune, Ilfov county. The driver fled from the accident site, but was later identified by the police.

“On June 15, around 10:44 pm, police officers from the Voluntari City Police were notified by 112 by a person regarding the production of a deadly road accident in Afumaţi commune, on the way to Bucharest”informs IPJ Ilfov.
Police officers from the Ilfov Road Service have established that in Afumaţi commune, near a fuel station, a 65 -year -old man was hit by a vehicle from Bucharest to Urziceni.
The man died from the impact, and the driver fled from the accident site.
“The police have identified both the driver and his vehicle, the person concerned being driven to the police headquarters for hearings”he transmitted The police.
Police are continuing their investigations to establish all the circumstances in which the road event took place.
Criminal prosecution file was drawn up in the aspect of committing the offenses “of murder and leaving the accident site, the criminal prosecution being under the coordination of the case prosecutor within the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Buftea Court ”.
