Japan has joined the coalition of the willing. Europe has made strong decisions – including EUR 90 billion for two years. But let's not close our eyes: Russia still has allies and companies that bypass sanctions,” he emphasized.

The Ukrainian leader concluded that his army is the strongest in Europe and should not remain outside NATO. “The Ukrainian army is the strongest army in Europe thanks to our heroes. It is unwise, in my opinion, simply unwise, to keep this army outside NATO“- he declared.
He also said that the absence of European countries at the table of talks on ending the war was a mistake. “Americans often talk about concessions. Too often, these concessions are discussed only in the context of Ukraine, not Russia. Europe is practically absent from the talks table. I think this is a huge mistake” – he said.

The president noted that Ukraine maintains the European frontthanks to which there can be free Baltic states and an independent Poland.
Zelensky assured that Ukraine is doing everything to make the negotiations effective, and Kiev wants real peace, not an illusion.
He also stated that Ukraine is ready to invest in common security. “Europe needs a real common defense policy. If the world had paid attention to Ukraine earlier, this war would not have started” – he concluded.
