Ukrainian troops in less than two months offended 85 important goals in Russia, of which 33 were military goals. The result is a fuel crisis, which seriously affects the capabilities of the Russian army – said the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrski.

“In less than two months, 85 important objects were hit in the territory of the enemy. 33 of them are military goals: bases, warehouses, arsenals, airports, aviation at parking spaces. Another 52 are objects of the defense industry complex: enterprises producing weapons, ammunition, combat heads, engines, rocket fuel, drones – all what is used every day” Syrski said during a conversation with journalists.
He emphasized that Deepstrike, in the background of the opponent's territory, “this is our strong side, an effective program that has already proved its effectiveness.” He also noted that the effectiveness of such attacks is highly rated by partners.
“The results are known to you. This is a fuel crisis in Russia, which directly affects the logistics and supply of its army. The possibilities of the opponent's war industry complex have been significantly limited and we see it on the battlefield,” said the general, quoted by the Interfax-Ukraina agency.
“This forced the Russian fleet to hide in a base in Noworosyjsk and going out to the sea only for a short time – for rocket attacks – after which (fleet) returns to the shelter again. This also forced the opponent to distract tactical aviation over considerable distances from the front line,” said Syrski.
The general revealed that soon a new kind of troops will appear in the armed forces of Ukraine: unmanned air defense systems. “For this purpose, units are created, equipped with intercepting drones and command that will deal with these drones,” he said.
Speaking of the situation on the front, Syrski emphasized that it is difficult, but controlled. “We have some successes recently,” he said.
The general also reported that Russian forces are 712 thousand. people. “The overall number of the opponent's offensive grouping is about 712,000 people. The active front is almost 1250 km. During the year, this line increased by about 200 km. In addition, we still have 2400 km, where combat operations are not taking place, but we also have to maintain our troops,” said Syrski.
