Krasnoyarsk photographer and traveler Sergei Tokarev became a nominee for the “Route Built” award in the category of best travel bloggers. He spoke about this on his social networks.

The nomination recognizes people or groups who have made a great contribution to the popularization of travel in Russia. In total, the list included more than 30 participants.
At the time of publication of the news, Sergei Tokarev is in fifth place with 146 votes. You can support him on the award website.
“Photographer and videographer Sergei Tokarev runs the blog “Krasnoyarsk Territory from Edge to Edge.” The blogger traveled from the southern borders to the northernmost settlement of the region on Dikson Island in the Kara Sea – this is 2,300 km in a straight line. Tells about tourist places where you can go for a weekend or a short vacation. Introduces you to distant points of the region, where an ordinary person himself is unlikely to be able to get or travel due to complexity or high cost,” is stated in the description of his participant card.
Let us add that five projects from the Krasnoyarsk Territory were included in another award category called “Events of the Year”. Among them:
- International Festival of Ethnic Music and Crafts “WORLD of Siberia”, Shushenskoye;
- All-Russian festival about dinosaurs, science, creativity, art and music “Opening”, Sharypovo;
- Festival “Siberian Breadbasket”, Minusinsk;
- Festival of folk culture “Siberian Maslenitsa”, Sukhobuzimskoye village;
- Festival of quests “Red Fox”, Krasnoyarsk.
Now the Otkritie festival is in second place – it is surpassed only by the astronomical festival Interstellar Fest from the Tula region. You can vote on the website.
Voting will continue until March 11. Then the leaders among the competitors will advance to the finals, where the jury will select the winner in each category. The award ceremony will take place in April.
