In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as part of a criminal investigation into organizing prostitution, investigators established new facts of criminal activity by members of an organized crime group. We are talking about the use of slave labor, numerous tortures and crimes against sexual freedom and integrity.

Let us recall that in 2018 a gang of pimps created and headed 36-year-old local resident. It operated in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Novosibirsk Region. For 7 Over the years, the group consisted of about 40 people. Attackers they looked for single women and girls, including minors, took their passports and detained them in places where they were forced into prostitution, using violence against them.

In total, more than 25 women were involved in prostitution. The members of the organized crime group took all the money they earned for themselves, excluding the possibility of victims receiving payment for services provided to clients.

“The captives were deprived of the opportunity to communicate with relatives, could not contact law enforcement agencies, and those who attempted to escape were returned back, subjected to sophisticated types of punishment. The victims were systematically subjected to sexual violence by the organizers and members of the criminal community,” the Investigative Committee provided new details.

Based on new facts of crimes against criminals identified opened criminal cases under four articles: Part 3 of Art. 127.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of slave labor by an organized group), clause “e”, part 3, art. 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture), art. 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rape) and Art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (nviolent acts of a sexual nature).

At the moment, the investigation has identified 25 defendants: 20 men and 5 women aged from 17 to 53 years. The organizers and participants of the criminal community were detained, 18 were kept in custody, and non-custodial measures were taken against the rest.

The investigation continues: other facts and persons involved in organizing prostitution are being identified.
