According to police, the incident occurred around 2:00.
It was previously established that the 29-year-old serviceman, who was in the SZCh (unauthorized abandonment of the unit), came to visit his friend, where he and a company of seven people drank alcoholic beverages.
“Later, during a sudden conflict, the offender exploded an F-1 grenade in the kitchen, as a result of which the 45-year-old owner of the house died at the scene, another guest – a local resident, 36 years old – was hospitalized with body injuries,” the report says.
Law enforcement officers found and detained the man. He suffered shrapnel wounds to his leg as a result of the explosion and is under medical observation, police said.
A report of suspicion is prepared for the detainee, and the issue of detention is decided.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under clause 5, part 2, art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional murder committed in a manner dangerous to the lives of many persons).
He faces 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.
