Participants will master the basics of traditional and digital forensics, forensics, and undergo fire and combat training. The practical part includes going on raids with police officers, as well as meetings with representatives of veterans and public organizations. This year, the emphasis is on preparing cadets to work in crowded conditions; they will be taught to identify offenders in a crowd and resist provocations.
“We give children from the age of 14 the opportunity to master the theory and practice of ensuring public safety. A comprehensive training program develops the skills of law-abiding behavior in young people, lays the foundations for patriotic education, allows them to find like-minded people, and prepares them for potential service in law enforcement agencies, paying attention not only to professional skills, but also to the development of moral and ethical qualities. An important advantage of the school is the creation of a close-knit team of children of different ages,” said project manager Daniil Podbornykh.
At the end of the training, all participants receive a certificate and the opportunity to enter the personnel reserve of law enforcement agencies. Graduates of the school from previous years have the opportunity to become senior cadets: they supervise newcomers and conduct preventive lectures in educational institutions.
“The vigilante school taught me how to work in a team. By participating in raids or helping police officers, I learned more and more about the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. From that moment on, I chose the path of working in the state traffic police,” said graduate Alexander Mikhailov.
“After vigilante school, I realized that I wanted to work in law enforcement. Now I am doing an internship at the Drug Control Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnoyarsk Territory. After graduation, I plan to build a career in this service in order to apply the acquired knowledge and develop further,” said graduate Anastasia Shabanova.
Details about the work of the school of vigilantes can be found in the community of the Patriot youth center and by phone 201-54-90.
