Organizers of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics have announced that they will restock the Olympic mascot after the souvenir was the fastest selling in official stores, German news agency DPA reported on Wednesday.
The plush toys with the white ermine – called Tina – have proven to be extremely popular with fans, so much so that they are practically sold out, even if there is still demand for them, notes Agerpres.
Luca Casassa, communications director of Olympic Games operations, said: “We are talking to all our suppliers. We will be receiving products again soon. It is an example of the excitement behind the Games that these mascots have sold out of our official stores.”
The official mascots of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Games are Tina (Olympic mascot) and Milo (Paralympic mascot).
Tina is short for Cortina and Milo is short for Milan. The pair are accompanied by six snowflakes, called 'Flo', which symbolize the Olympic spirit.
