List of what's new in iOS 26.3. Here's what's changing on iPhones

The next version of iOS mainly includes fixes related to iPhone security, but the list also includes some more practical new features. The most interesting ones are related to… the greater opening of the Apple ecosystem to other devices.

Here are the most interesting of them:

  • iPhone can push notifications to third-party devices — e.g. for Xiaomi or Samsung smartwatches
  • Unlocked Proximity pairing of iPhone with third-party devices — any wireless headphones can be connected in the same way as AirPods
  • An option has appeared hide the exact location from the mobile operator — when we activate it, only the general area we are in is visible (the option is currently unavailable in Poland and only on a few devices with a C1 and C1X modem)
  • The system's Weather section can use new wallpapers
  • Shared a new tool to facilitate the transition from iOS to Android – data migration to another ecosystem includes photos, contacts and selected applications
  • Standard news RCS now use end-to-end encryption
