Alert on the beach: drone found between Costinești and Tuzla, observed by three young people on a bicycle ride
Remains of a drone were discovered on Thursday, February 12, on the beach located between the resorts of Costinești and Tuzla. They were noticed by several people walking, who alerted the authorities by calling 112.

Police and fire brigade teams went to the scene, and started checks to identify the object and establish its origin.
The drone was first spotted on Thursday morning by three people riding their bikes. They alerted the authorities by calling 112.
The authorities advise the population not to touch the debris and to notify the police immediately if similar objects are identified on the beach.
We remind you that on Monday evening, the remains of a drone were also found on the beach in Mamaia.
The Ministry of National Defense said that the fragments of a drone found on a beach in Mamaia on Monday could come from the military exercises held last week in the Capu Midia range. As part of these activities, the participating forces fired on single-use aerial targets, all of which were shot down over the sea.
“On the evening of Monday, February 9, the Ministry of National Defense was notified of the fact that on the beach in the Victoria Hotel area, Mamaia resort, Constanța county, the existence of some drone fragments was reported by calling the 112 Service. Specialized teams of the institutions in the field of national security and defense intervened according to the procedure and removed the drone elements. In this case, the MApN specialists were not requested to intervenes, the procedure being a common one, also applied in other similar situations”recalled, on Wednesday evening, MApN.
