In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a criminal case was opened after the death of a baby. This was reported to the regional Investigative Committee.
The tragedy occurred in Kansk. According to investigators, on January 7, a 3-month-old girl showed signs of a cold. The parents tried to treat the child themselves, but the very next day they called an ambulance. Doctors examined the baby, but found no reason for hospitalization.
On the morning of January 10, the girl’s condition suddenly and sharply worsened, and her parents were forced to call an ambulance again. The child died before the doctors arrived; resuscitation measures carried out on the spot did not produce results.
Investigators are now taking the necessary steps to establish all the circumstances of the incident. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of the child's death.
A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence due to improper performance by a person of his professional duties).
