The head of state reported that during trilateral negotiations in Abu Dhabi on February 4 and 5, the American side proposed another energy truce. Ukraine then agreed, Suspilne wrote.
“Regarding the energy truce: we have not received a response from the Russians. Probably, on the contrary, it should be said: we received a response in the form of drones and missile attacks. Therefore, this suggests that they are not yet ready for the energy truce that the American side proposed in Abu Dhabi,” Zelensky said.
In particular, the Russians staged a massive missile and drone attack on the night of February 7, using 408 drones and 39 missilesreported the Ukrainian Air Force. The western part of the country was the main target. According to Zelensky, the main targets of the Russian night strike are power grid, generation and distribution substations. In particular, damage was recorded in Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne and Vinnytsia regions.
