In Bratsk, a teenager died after inhaling gas from a canister at his dacha

In the Irkutsk region, a 15-year-old boy died after inhaling gas from a portable stove can. The tragedy occurred on March 17 at a dacha in one of the gardening partnerships in Bratsk, reports IrkutskMedia news agency.
In addition to the deceased, the company included his peer and an 18-year-old boy. According to investigators, all three inhaled the gas. At some point, the teenager became ill and died on the spot.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article of causing death by negligence. Investigators are already interrogating the participants and finding out what role the adult played in the incident, who, according to preliminary data, bought the cylinder in the store. The work of the organs of the prevention system will also be assessed.
The prosecutor's office has placed the investigation under control. The department will check how legislation on protecting children's rights and preventing neglect was implemented. The regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that the sale of gas-containing household goods to minors is prohibited in Russia.
