The director of the Lobny art school, Elena Matrosova, attacked a young teacher for refusing to work overtime without pay and carry out non-core orders from her boss.
The footage shows how the director/city deputy, head of the cultural commission, grabs teacher Anna Voronkova by the hair and drags her along the wall. Everything happens in the school hallway, in front of the children. According to our information, this is a reaction to Voronkova’s refusal to write a statement “on her own.” After her “no” to Matrosova’s order to take additional jobs for free and carry out all sorts of orders from managers that are not specified in the employment contract.
Voronkova recorded the beatings and wrote a statement to the police. The parents of the students learned about the incident and are considering writing a collective statement to the regional Ministry of Culture to remove the director from his position.
