“If you look at the statistics, they are sad, because over the past week alone we had 22 arrivals and 22 shellings in the city of Kharkov,” Terekhov said.
He recalled that the worst attack was on February 3, when the Russian Shahed hit a five-story residential building.
“And practically from the second to the fifth floor there was a very strong fire. We had to evacuate people and people were injured. We also had to sew up this house in order to save heat and return utilities to people,” the mayor of Kharkov informed.
According to Terekhov, more than 850 houses in the city are left without heating due to Russian attacks.
On February 10, the Kharkov region was recognized as a regional emergency zone due to constant Russian shelling and a difficult situation with energy supply.
