The manicure is intact, the nerves are alive – and the hood is cleared of grease: I soaked it for an hour and forgot

Grease on the hood grate is one of the most annoying kitchen problems. It sticks in layers, retains odors and over time turns the hood into a real dust collector. The longer you delay cleaning, the more difficult it is to wash – you have to rub, scrub and breathe in chemicals. But there is a simple way in which fat dissolves itself, without effort and expensive means.

You will need a large container or baking tray that will accommodate the entire grill. It is poured with hot water so that the metal is completely covered. Then add half a glass of baking soda, half a glass of 3% hydrogen peroxide and a quarter cup of 9% vinegar. The solution is lightly stirred – the active reaction begins immediately.

The grate is simply left in this mixture. For ordinary stains, one hour is enough, and for old grease, you can leave it overnight. During this time, the plaque softens and begins to come off on its own. After soaking, just walk with a sponge or brush without strong pressure – the metal becomes clean again.

The good thing about this method is that it does not require expensive products or long scrubbing. If you carry out such cleaning once a month, the hood does not have time to become covered with a dense layer of grease and always remains neat – without odors, stickiness and unnecessary effort.
