Donald Trump's empire. The US “swallowed” Cuba, Venezuela and Canada

US President Donald Trump posted on his Truth Social social media platform on the night from Sunday to Monday a photo with a map in which US territory includes Greenland, Canada, Cuba and Venezuela. This is the second time the president has released this graphic.

The graphic posted by Trump on Truth Social is a modified photo from the meeting from August last year. with European leaders and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. In place of the map of Ukraine, then standing in the Oval Office, a map of the Western Hemisphere was inserted, the territory of which, marked in the colors of the American flag, includes Greenland, Canada, Cuba and Venezuela.

The president did not add any comments to the photo. Trump first posted the same graphic to his account in January during a period of tension over his bid to acquire Greenland. At the time, it was one of many memes he and the White House posted on the subject.

In addition to Greenland, Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire for Canada to join the US, and after the overthrow of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela, he declared that the US would rule this country. He also joked that after the overthrow of the regime in Cuba, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has Cuban roots, could become president of the country. (PAP)
