What is the hit of this holiday season?
Based on what we saw in our clients' search – Kołobrzeg is definitely a hit. And it seems that this time the position of this resort is unwavering. There are as many as twice as much as the second more on the Gdańsk list. The podium closes Świnoujście.
Where did the success of Kołobrzeg come from?
Certainly travelers appreciate that it is a well -known spa, with a fantastic hotel infrastructure. Some may also disturb, because there are really many accommodation on the shore and new ones are being built all the time. However, it is worth emphasizing that they are also often large hotels and very prestigious, and such customers easily find. There are a lot of rooms in Kołobrzeg, the competition is high, and this of course promotes the development of the city and the surrounding area. I would also pay attention to the increase in the popularity of Świnoujście. In recent years, this resort has grown into a top tourist location.
What about the mountains?
Mountain resorts are just after these sea towns. Zakopane, Karpacz, Świeradów-Zdrój leads. There are also no big surprises here.
Are there any growing towns? Not yet known, but those in which there are more and more tourists?
By all means, we see it both with queries and the reservations themselves. These are usually places that are located in the area of larger centers. There is more and more infrastructure there. A good example is even the coastal Unieście. The launch of the Arche Fabryka Aircraft Hotel helped this location. Another example is – already very popular – Pobierowo, which awaits the opening of the Gołębiewski Hotel. In the south of Poland, the Vistula is more and more and more and more often visited – this is a good alternative to the very crowded Szczyrk.
What are we considering when choosing a place of stay? Still a location or more hotel and more broadly – infrastructure?
It depends on the season. This holiday is not necessarily about the hotel itself – then the location is crucial. However, already in autumn objects that are not located in very popular locations, but make up for it with great facilities. An example is the Żnin sugar factory. Also in autumn or spring we are more likely to go to the object, and not necessarily to the place.

How expensive will this year's holidays be?
Comparing the prices from last year's season, it can be said that the increases are similar to the inflation rate and amount to 4 or 5 percent. However, shopping baskets themselves are larger – up to 10 percent.
Where does it come from?
On the one hand, our clients move towards facilities of a higher standard. More and more people come to 4— or 5 – star hotels. On the other hand, we have increasingly richer packages. Once, their foundation was their foundation. Now it is also a parking lot, an earlier check-in, later check-out, and sometimes SPA treatments. Therefore, customers are increasingly demanding, and therefore ready to spend more and more on rest.
And other amenities?
Certainly the swimming pool and SPA are the basis today – just like meals. There are also more and more aquaparks. In general, the offer for children is very important. Play rooms have been developing for years, now animations for the youngest are the standard. A novelty that we observe in recent seasons is an increasingly richer offer for older children. Once it was intended mainly for toddlers up to 10 years old. Recently, this border has moved high. Hotels offer, for example, game rooms, flippers and other similar attractions. This is a natural way of things: our clients' children grow up and have different requirements. Therefore, both our offer and the offer of hotel facilities had to adapt.
Hotel tourism is an important trend that affects the amenities – more and more travelers choose places promoted by influencers. That is why it is so important that the object has some interesting elements that will help him build recognition – the so -called Instaspots with an extremely nice view, roof pools or these types of infinity pool.
More and more hotels are being built. Is there still room for the next?
Yes, we observe a very high demand – still very far to achieve the glass ceiling. I see huge potential, for example, in premium agritourism and in the development of the comfortable accommodation market. This is favored by the fact that more and more visitors from abroad come to Poland, which in turn is the result of our tourist attractiveness and good infrastructure. Compared to the West of Europe or the Balkans, we also offer relatively low prices. It is not surprising, therefore, that, for example, tourists from the Czech Republic are increasingly choosing Poland, not Croatia. Guests from the Emirates who love the Tatra Mountains are also a phenomenon. Apparently, even special tourist offices are being built in the Emirates, serving the Polish direction for them. The industry has many years of development ahead of it.
