Beeline in partnership with Kaspersky Lab launched a free cyber threat scanner

Beeline customers can now run a scan directly in the mobile application to find out whether they have visited potentially dangerous resources from their device, for example, phishing or malicious sites.
The new feature, developed jointly with Kaspersky Lab, will allow users to assess cyber risks with one click of a button and take protective measures in a timely manner.
Malware and phishing are one of the main challenges for modern people, and they are becoming more and more sophisticated. As the safest operator, Beeline takes care of the protection of its customers, including in this area, and provides them with tools for safe use of the Internet.
The new scanning feature gives the user the ability to quickly assess risks and take protective measures if threats are detected.
The check occurs at the network level and does not require the installation of additional software. All the client needs to do is click on the “Scan” button in the Beeline mobile application. Next, the operator checks the client’s traffic data for the last 30 days with cyber threat databases, determines the degree of risk and gives a response based on the traffic light principle:
- green — no threats detected, everything is fine;
- yellow — transitions to potentially dangerous resources have been noted, there is reason to be wary;
- red — the probability of infection is high, the device must be checked for malware and, possibly, security software installed.
Thanks to integration directly into the operator’s network, the solution will be available for mass use and will be able to work on any device, regardless of OS version, without burdening their memory and power consumption.
“We are constantly working to improve the quality of the services we provide and, most importantly, to ensure the safety of our clients. In the last three months of 2025 alone, we blocked more than 50 thousand phishing resources, and almost 4 million of our clients faced cyber threats. The launch of this feature is another step in our strategy to protect subscribers from cyber threats. We are confident that it will become a useful tool for everyone who values their privacy and security in the digital world,” said Petr Alferov, Beeline’s antifraud director.
“Mobile devices are often used by attackers to distribute malware. In 2025, our solutions detected them on the devices of 34% of users in Russia. Against the background of constantly growing cyber threats, protection today is no longer a luxury, but a basic minimum. The new scanner in the Beeline application is a convenient early diagnostic tool, developed based on our international experience, expertise and proven cybersecurity technologies. It shows whether the user has visited unsafe sites. We are glad to see that more and more companies, including Beeline, are implementing such solutions, and we are actively promoting the creation of services that help millions of people better understand digital risks. Analysis at the network level allows us to identify basic threats, and for complete and comprehensive protection, we recommend supplementing it with solutions directly on the user’s device,” said Marina Titova, director of the consumer business department at Kaspersky Lab.
