In Krasnoyarsk, new interactive educational laboratories of the KrasRussian Railways opened in the cluster “Railroad Worker of Yenisei Siberia”

New interactive educational laboratories for complete immersion in working professions for training future specialists of KrasRussian Railways have opened in the educational and production cluster “Railwayman of Yenisei Siberia” on the basis of the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Railway Transport (KrIZhTa).

They were created with the support of JSC Russian Railways.

These are two modern high-tech auditoriums with movable layouts, sensory stands and simulators, which are controlled from a computer and simulate real production processes. Thus, already during training, the student is in the future workplace and absorbs knowledge more effectively.

Thus, in the first laboratory, “Performing electrical work,” students, while mastering the profession of an energy dispatcher, can manage a traction substation, and future contact line installers have the opportunity to carry out maintenance on overhead power lines without leaving the classroom.

The second training platform “Condition monitoring of the railway track” helps to study in detail the structure of the railway track infrastructure. With the help of multimedia equipment, students master the profession of track fitter and flaw detector. Using a large-scale model, they study algorithms for track maintenance and repair, including the use of special machines.

Let us remind you that the cluster “Railroad Worker of Yenisei Siberia”, created within the framework of the federal project “Professionality” for training specialists in blue-collar professions, opened in Krasnoyarsk on September 1, 2025. Its core was KrIZhT, and its participants were the Bogotolsky Technical School of Transport and the Krasnoyarsk Multidisciplinary Technical School named after. V.P. Astafieva. The industrial partner and main employer is the Krasnoyarsk Railway.

In two new laboratories, 130 students will learn the basics of the professions of a railway worker and a power engineer.

The federal project “Professionalism” is aimed at updating the system of secondary vocational education and training specialists in blue-collar professions in demand in the labor market. In 2025, the first students in the educational and production cluster “Railroad Worker of Yenisei Siberia” were 398 school graduates from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk Region, Khakassia and Tyva.
