But you shouldn’t torture yourself every day in the gym, working out to the point of exhaustion – doctors are sure that this will not save you. Leading expert of the NTI Healthnet market and the Healthy Health union, doctor Andrey Martyushev-Poklad, told how to lose weight by summer without harm to your health.
In a conversation with RIA Novosti (18+), the expert gave several recommendations:
- remove sources of chronic distress. These include lack of sleep or poor sleep quality, as well as alcohol consumption;
- optimize your nutrition. This is definitely not about restricting calories, but about including whole animal products, vegetables and a minimum of carbohydrates in the diet;
- add movement to your life. Walking, rhythmic low-frequency exercises, strength exercises, exercises for flexibility and joint mobility are enough, that is, the simplest exercises aimed at regulating the nervous system and triggering hormonal signals.
