8-year-old girl stole her mother's car and drove off to get coffee
In Ohio, USA, an elementary school student took the keys to her parents' car and decided to go for a ride. The parents contacted the state police and discovered that the child had disappeared from their home. A car was also missing from the garage.
After reviewing the recordings of street surveillance cameras, the police determined that the girl herself drove off in an unknown direction in her parents’ car.
Police found the car in a parking lot near a store 20 kilometers from the girl’s home. The “driver” herself was nearby.
She explained her action by saying that she really wanted a Frappuccino, but she didn’t want to wait a day before going to the supermarket.
