“People voted for Leleka. Maybe it’s good that we are not holding elections now,” he wrote ironically.
Others believe that Ukraine should be represented at Eurovision 2026 by the Ukrainian singer Tina Karol with the song “We Have No Light.” With this composition a few weeks ago, the artist got into a scandalbecause it seemed to listeners that she was supposedly enjoying the constant power outages.
The discontent of Eurofans was caused by and the support group of the Ukrainian artist Monokate, who in the recreation area campaigned on camera for the audience to vote for the former leader of the group Go-A. The fact is that on one of the posters in support of the singer they used the famous photo of the Ukrainian politician Vyacheslav Chornovil, who was recorded with three raised fingers, which Monokate’s friends tied to the number “3”, under which she performed.

One of the funny moments of the competition was Nikityuk’s unexpected decision to “lick” the forehead of one of the participants from the Ukrainian group Molodi. The musician complained about the “curse,” and the presenter said that if he licked his forehead, everything will pass. Like, her mother always did this to her, which means the method is proven.

This year, the performances of the artists were evaluated by Ukrainian artists – singers Ruslana and Zlata Ognevich, composer Evgeny Filatov, choreographer Konstantin Tomilchenko and director of “HitFM” Vitaly Drozdov.
The winner of the Ukrainian national selection Leleka with the song Ridnym will represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026, which will take place in the Austrian capital Vienna. The first semi-final of the competition is scheduled for May 12, the second – for May 14, and the grand final will take place on May 16.
