If aggressiveness is not detected, the dog is sterilized, treated, vaccinated against rabies and released into its habitat with a tag on its ear. It is believed that this can be a natural way to reduce the number of street animals. If the dog’s aggressiveness is confirmed at the temporary detention center, then it will not be released into its habitat. If the owners are found, the animals are given away under a contract after sterilization, vaccination and tagging. All procedures in this case are carried out at the expense of the new owners. Such animals can live in shelters, apartments, houses, and private areas, but they cannot be released into their habitat. If such facts are discovered, the taker will also face a fine, and in some cases, criminal liability. If the dog is not taken away within 30 days, then by law the animal must be euthanized.

The mayor's office reminded that dogs that are on the street without an owner and do not have tags on their ears are subject to capture. Contractors can catch animals with tags only if they show aggression. In this case, the dog will be taken to a temporary detention center and will undergo additional examination and examination procedures.
