A spectacular road accident occurred during the evening of Friday, February 6, around 10:20 p.m., in a commune in Ilfov county, when a 54-year-old man of Turkish origin lost control of the steering wheel and his car jumped over a roundabout, stopping on the roof of a shop.
The driver was rushed to the hospital, and the police opened an investigation to establish the exact circumstances of the event.
The moment when the car “takes off” after hitting the roundabout was caught by a surveillance camera in the area and went viral on social networks.
The witnesses said that the car was moving at a very high speed.

“He went straight into the lane, jumped up and fell on the shop. I understood that the car was coming from Bucharest, at a very high speed“, declared one of the people who arrived at the scene of the spectacular accident.
“You realize: If it flew 40 meters from there to this building, I think it had speed.” said another.
A woman present at the scene added that the driver could have been under the influence of alcohol: “From what I understand, the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol. I think he lost control of the car.”
