Rapid București and Petrolul Ploiești ended in a draw on Friday evening in Giulesti, score 0-0, and Costel Gâlcă's team temporarily missed the chance to climb to first place in the SuperLiga.
At the end of the game, the coach of Rapid said that the footballers brought in this winter need a period of adaptation.
“I told you, I would have liked Moruțan to enter from the first match, from the first minute since he came. Both he and Paraschiv still need adaptation, they still need time. We hope to have Talisson as soon as possible,” said Gâlcă in a flash interview, quoted by GOLAZO.ro.
The technician put the result down to a lack of inspiration.
“I don't regret the choices made for this match. We had 4 matches in 12 days. It's hard. It was also the time for the others to play, to prove that they deserve to play for Rapid, to be in the first 11. Let there be team competition, so that we have a very good level. Today we didn't take the ball to the box very many times. We had it, but we weren't clear there. We didn't have inspiration,” Costel Gâlcă said.
