Interim Prime Minister Cătălin Predoiu said the Government will adopt a package of aid to restore Praid Salt. Authorities want to request the opinion of several experts from abroad to evaluate the situation at Salina Praid, writes Agerpres.
“In the Government meeting we provide a package of aid for the restoration of saline and possibly the restoration of the economic, social life conditions there. This is an action line and which will materialize in parallel with the clear establishment of a diagnosis regarding what is happening in the saline,” said the interim prime minister.
Cătălin Predoiu said that the Ministry of Economy will make a group of experts to say what will happen in the future with the functionality of the saline. At the same time, Predoiu says that at this moment it operates using underwater drones to evaluate the situation from Praid.
He also stated that on Sunday night, the National Council for Emergency Situations has adopted a decision to access a European expert mechanism.
“I did not exclude the idea of co-opting and a second, the third opinion from experts from abroad and I made steps in this regard. Later last night I adopted a decision of the National Council for Emergency Situations to access a European mechanism in terms of expert. Predoiu mentioned that the second line of action is related to the assessment of damages in the other localities in which floods, Băcel and Boroșneu took place, for the compensation of the citizens of the Government.

And last night, a controlled and self-evacuation evacuation was done in the area of the old salt mine, where I have to evacuate, and to remind you.
