After 37 years, Anna Wintour leaves the position of the editor -in -chief of the American version of the “Vogue” fashion magazine – CNN TV said on Thursday. “This is the end of a certain era in the fashion world,” said New York Post.


75-year-old Wintour informed on Thursday colleagues that she was looking for a person who could take over her duties. The publisher of the Conde magazine followed the CNN station that Wintour will no longer be the editor -in -chief of the warehouse, but does not part with the company.
Wintour took up the function of the editor -in -chief of the American “Vogue” in 1988. New York Post emphasized that under the leadership of Wintour, the magazine strengthened his position of a leading magazine in the world fashion industry. The CNN station called Wintour “the most recognizable fashion editor in the industry”.
