What a nightmare for Antoine Baron (25 years old), the speedy striker borrowed from Giulești at AFSclub from Portugal, until the end of the season. The French made his debut last night in the Portuguese Cup match with Sporting Lisbon (lost away, 2-3), but what followed could mark him for life.
Sent on the field in the 56th minute, instead of Diego Duarte, Baron he was changed after the game entered extra time (91'), due to a terrible injury.

On social media, Sporting sent a message of encouragement for the French striker: “Sporting wishes AFS player Antoine Baroan a speedy recovery. See you soon on the pitch.”
At Rapid, Antoine Baroan played 15 matches, during which he scored 2 goals. He is quoted by the specialized website Transfermarkt at 600,000 euros
The Frenchman also played for Niort, Botev Plovdiv, Winterthur and Ludogorets during his career.
