Craiova defeats Oțelul and the Oltenians return to first place / FCSB achieves its second consecutive victory

On Thursday, the Universitatea Craiova team defeated the Oţelul Galaţi group 1-0 at home, in the 25th stage of the SuperLiga.
Olteni had the first important opportunity of the game in the 5th minute, when Bancu shot over the goal, from the box. The Dur-Bozoancă goalkeeper rejected Adrian Rus's long-range shot in the 20th minute, and the first half ended with Etim's crossbar in the 45th minute.
The goal fell in the 61st minute, in the Galata goal, David Matei being the author of the opening score, reports News.ro.
Matei also sent it directly into the arms of the guests' goalkeeper, in the 76th minute, and the VAR canceled Nsimba's goal, in the 89th minute, for offside. The last opportunity belonged to Romanchuk, who sent it into the crossbar in the fourth minute of overtime.
Craiova University prevailed 1-0 against Oţel Galati and Coelho's students returned to the first step of the podium, having 49 points. Steel is out of the play-off, in 9th place, with 37 points.

And the FCSB team from Bucharest defeated the FC Botoşani group at home, score 2-1, in the last match of the 25th stage of the SuperLiga.
The Bucharesters dominated the first half of the match at the National Arena and the visitors' goalkeeper, Anestis, was the hero of Grozavu's team, writes News.ro. He parried the shots of Tănase (min. 4) and Cisotti (min. 10), then intervened on Miculescu's long-range shot, in the 38th minute. Vali Creţu hit the crossbar a minute later, and the hosts managed to open the scoring in the 41st minute, through Mamadou Thiam.
In the second half, Anestis also blocked Olaru in the 47th minute, then rejected Miculescu in the 58th minute. Leo Grozavu changed offensively in the 67th minute and the visitors' goal came. The newly arrived Kovtalyuk equalized with a header, in the 72nd minute, from Onfgenda's cross, but the hosts' forcing yielded results after only three minutes, when Olaru brought the red-blues back to the advantage, from an assist provided by Baba Alhassan.
The end of the match was played on the counter, with both teams having chances to score, but in the end FCSB – FC Botoşani was 2-1, and Charalambous' team is in 10th place, with 37 points. The red-blues reached two points from the last place in the play-off, the 6th place, occupied even by FC Botoşani, which has 39 points.
